Fun in the Summer Sun
We just blew up our first baby pool. Emma Jane loved it. She invited her friends, Trey and Toby, to come enjoy the fun. It is so fun to see how some rinky-dink blow up swimming pool is such a blast to kids. I think Emma Jane's favorite part of the whole thing was her popsicle. We couldn't tear her away from it. Don't you just love the summer!

The Little Man of the House
Emma Jane's Growing Up
Emma Jane was having so much fun touching the ceiling. It was so cute. She really has grown up so much in the past month. She no longer looks like a baby. She is starting to look like a little girl. She also is getting so much more independent. Now that she is walking and running, it has been so much fun watching her explore and discover everything. Oh how fun to be 14 months!!
Well, when you have a one year old who just doesn't want to eat their dinner, but you don't want to send them to bed on an empty stomach, what do you turn to? Go-Gurt saves the day! Although, it does look like green slime, I am sure there is some nutritional value in there, right? You can definitely tell that Nana is in town. :)
This is Emma Jane's new chair. She loves it. She just loves to sit in it, kick back, watch some "signing time", drink some milk, and relax. She thinks she is such a big girl. It is so cute. Also, she did have pig tails, but one had already been pulled out. That was our first attempt at pig tails.
I just had to post this b/c I love this outfit on her. My goal this year is to dress as good as Emma Jane...but first I need to get back in shape.
This just shows Emma Jane in action. I really think she learned how to run as soon as we came home from the hospital. She is just so fast these days. It is fun to see her roam around.

Our lil' Ronaldinha
We taught her all the basics: I don't care if the defender knocks you down, don't retaliate. Move around the midfield, push through the defense, keep the ball close when you dribble and when you see an opening...shoot! oh yeah, and don't forget to run in the goal and celebrate. pechocha! Now we just need to teach her to kick with her left.

One Week Old
Well, we made it a week. CJ is one week old today. He went to the doctor today and is doing great. He is a great sleeper, so we are very grateful. He is so sweet. Emma Jane still gives him kisses every chance she gets. It is just adorable. She has just learned how to brush his hair. I am pretty sure she still thinks he is a doll, but o well. She is such a wonderful big sister and loves being praised for being "so sweet" to him.

CJ!!!
Family of Four
My Favorite Picture of the Little Guy
This is my favorite picture of him so far. He looks so different in every picture. Swelling keeps going down, so he is constantly changing. We will post more pictures throughout the week. We don't have internet in the hospital, and I get out on Friday. So, don't expect much until then. We are so excited to have him in our family. He is so precious and sweet. We hope you all get to meet him soon.
The Newborn
The little one has arrived. All 7 lbs. 9 oz. , 19 3/4 in. of him. He's got some real fun/funny features. Dark hair, huge feet and those kissable Evans' lips. We'll post more when we get home from the hospital (hopefully Friday). The baby and momma bear are doing very well. It's been a much more pleasant experience this time. Still deciding on a name.
