Anyway, I tried the Haynie's miracle pre-spotter. I didn't even scrub the sheets, bumper, mattress cover, or quilt. I just sprayed the stuff on, and I threw it in the washer. Anyway, everything came out perfectly clean, and this was red cool aid on a white mattress pad and white chenille fabric on her quilt. And it came out! And I didn't even scrub. You should try it. Seriously, it is awesome. I have never used anything even close to as good as it. Here's the recipe:
1 cup Ammonia
1 cup water
1 cup dawn dishwashing soap (I used Palmolive b/c that was all I had, and it worked great!)

that was an extremely gross description of the barf. but i will try the wash stuff. never bought ammonia before.
i hadn't either, but it is really cheap.
My mom uses that stuff to and I believe that she got the recipe from Peggy. It does work that's for sure!
I'll have to give this a try, I always have clothes with stains on them now that we have Adam. Hope you and Emma Jane are feeling better soon!
what is ammonia and where do you get it
Ammonia is a cleaning agent that they use in most/all cleaning products. You can find it next to the bleach in a grocery store.
okay, so just made it. holy crap that stuff stinks. i'm toxicating my house! i missed the part were you said 'dawn' dish stuff. i got ajax.
Any degreaser should work, so don't worry. Yes, it does stink, but it is better to smell that than the stinky, poopy, or throw-upy clothes you are trying to clean.
its a must in the laundry room. It works so well. It works the best with Dawn original
